Privacy and safer contact
Keep You Safe is operated by Angus Lewington, trading as Alien IT Solutions. ABN 32 385 519 280.
What the enquiry form sends
The form sends your chosen name, email, reply instructions and message. We use these details to assess and respond to your enquiry.
You can use an alias. Do not send passwords, private evidence or a location you need to keep confidential.
Who processes a message
The form uses Akismet for spam screening when configured. Screening can include your message, name, email, IP address and browser information.
The handler sends enquiries through Twilio’s email service to the Alien IT Solutions enquiry inbox. Staff with inbox access can read them.
These services process information outside this website. See Automattic privacy and Twilio privacy for their terms.
We cannot promise absolute confidentiality. Email accounts, shared devices and notifications can expose a reply.
Browsing and optional analytics
The site does not load Google Analytics unless you select “Allow analytics on this page” in the footer.
That choice applies to this page only. If enabled, Google Analytics receives page information and technical browser data and may set cookies.
The site does not send form field contents to analytics. The form script does not save a draft in browser storage.
Your browser may still remember entries or retain page history. Turning off analytics does not protect a monitored device.
Hosting and security services may record requests and IP addresses. The form also uses temporary rate-limit records and spam logs.
Stored enquiries and privacy requests
Sent enquiries may remain in the business mailbox and service logs. We do not publish a fixed retention period.
To ask about access, correction or deletion, use the enquiry form from a safer account. Include safe reply instructions.
Do not send identity documents with your initial request. We will discuss what is needed to handle it.
Quick exit is not a privacy guarantee
Quick exit opens a weather website. It does not erase history or stop device monitoring. See the safer-device guide.
